About Scott Baldwin
Scott’s first home was on Hamilton Street in Noblesville in 1967. His father was a teacher and coach in Westfield Schools and his mother was a beautician in Noblesville. Scott attended Madison Heights High School, Indiana University, and Ball State University. He proudly served in the United States Marine Corps from 1985-1991.
Scott worked as a correctional officer and Special Emergency Response Team instructor for the Indiana Department of Correction before volunteering to serve again in the USMC during Desert Storm. After his second honorable discharge, Scott was hired by the Indianapolis Police Department in 1992. Scott served with IPD in a variety of operational, investigative, and supervisory capacities. Scott left IPD in 2005 but maintains strong contacts in local and federal law enforcement. Scott’s 20+ years of experience as a public servant has provided him with a unique perspective of crime, prosecution, and corrections.
Scott and his three brothers own and operate a commercial and residential brokerage firm called Baldwin Brothers, which has been based in Hamilton County for several years.
Scott and his wife Jaime have two children, Grace (5) and Luke (4). They live in Noblesville and attend Our Lady of Grace. Scott enjoys hunting, fishing, bicycling, and scuba diving. He is a member of Noblesville Masonic Lodge #57, the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 6246 in Noblesville, Hamilton County MIBOR, the Indiana Association of Realtors, the National Association of Realtors, the Indiana Commercial Board of Realtors, the International Council of Shopping Centers, the Noblesville Chamber of Commerce and the U.S. Chamber of Commerce. Scott has also been volunteering his time as a detective in the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office - Special Task Team since April 2007.
