Scott’s leadership experience is also solidly grounded in business. After Scott left law enforcement, he built a commercial real estate brokerage firm from limited resources and a strategic mindset. Scott’s core focus was in land sales, office leasing, and investment sales/acquisitions. He also has experience in development coordination, property management, and information technology. Scott was joined by his brothers, (Mark, Luke, & David) and the firm grew larger as it added residential and advertising arms. Today, the companies collectively employ over 50 professionals and sell or lease over $30 million in real estate assets or marketing products each year. Scott and his brothers oversee budgeting, hiring, marketing, and strategy for the three arms of the corporation.

Scott’s 20+ years of experience as a public servant in a variety of capacities has provided him with a solid foundation and understanding of crime, prosecution, and corrections. This, coupled with his business experience and successes, gives Scott a unique perspective on balancing departmental and community goals with realistic leadership efforts and business-minded economics.
